Biography
크리스 탐린은 처음 기타를 아버지로부터 받았다. 그때 나이는 11살, 그는 14살때 처음 예배곡을 썼다. 그는 대학에 들어가 의학을 공부하려 했다. 그러나 하나님의 소명을 받은후 그 길이 아님을 알았다. 그때가 1990년도 탐린은 쇠약해진 때였다. 또한 Dawson McAllister의 유스 컨퍼런스에서 예배를 인도하게 된 해이기도하다. Texas A&M University에 다니면서 탐린은 연주하는것과 곡 쓰는 일을 계속했다. 1997년 루이 기글리오(Louie Giglio)가 패션 컨퍼런스(Passion Conferences)에서 일하기를 요청하고, 탐린은 이에 수락한다. 그리고 그는 그곳에서 연주하게 되었다. 그는 2001년 처음으로 솔로 프로젝트로 The Noise We Make를 내놓는다. 이 앨범의 왕 되신 주께(Forever), Be Glorified, 친절하신 주님(Kindness), 2005년 CCLI Top 500에서 Top 200안에 들기도 했다. 그외에도 많은 스튜디오 앨범이 있는데 Arriving에선 총 4곡-"Indescribable", "거룩하신 주(Holy Is the Lord)", "위대하신 주(How Great Is Our God)," and "The Way I Was Made-과 2곡("On Our Side" and "Mighty is the Power of the Cross")이 Christian Copyright Licensing International의 Top 500에 들기도 했다. 그후 See The Morning 앨범은 그래미 어워즈(Grammy Awards)에서 2개, 도브 어워즈(Dove Awards) 6개 부문에서 상을 받았다. Christian Copyright Licensing International에 따르면 2007년 8월 미국 Top 25 예배곡에 "위대하신 주(How Great Is Our God)"(#1), "왕 되신 주께 (Forever)"(#5), "거룩하신 주(Holy Is the Lord)"(#7), "주 앞에 다 엎드려(We Fall Down)"(#12),and "Indescribable"(#22)이 랭크 되었다. 탐린은 딜리리어스?(Deliriou?)와 투어하기도 하였으며, 스티븐 커티스 채프먼(Steven Curtis Chapman)의 All Things New 투어를 돕기도 하였고, 매트 레드먼(MAtt Redman)과 루이 기글리오와 함께 Indescribable Tour를 진행하기도 하였다. 그리고 2007년 4월에는 See The Morning 투어를 하기도 했다.
